As you can see every single Cavi Cone weighed short. An average rice or hemp cone weighs .2-.3g. However, Caviar Gold happens to be the HEAVIEST, at about .3g. So that means one of these (Good Day) joints was a missing over a HALF GRAM of product. Do the math: over a full gram saved for every two cones sold. How is that an “accident”? It also wasn’t a fluke, as I purchased five (5) total: a cone from almost EVERY Caviar line, and every single one was light. You can tell from the moment you open the tube. Sometimes- VERY light, others just enough to piss you off after you just spent $35 on a single joint. These are not accidents, this is deception. The photos speak for themselves, but everyone should definitely see them in person.
The branding of Caviar Gold may appeal to some… using the word “Caviar” along with a gold foil crown on your cannabis tends to lead consumers to believe they are consuming “top-shelf” product. With Caviar Gold…. That just simply isn’t the case. These smell and taste as horrible as they look. Classics are available in 3 varieties- and anywhere from 2-4 celebrity endorsements at one time. (That’s the magic word- “CELEBRITY”). Sadly, people still don’t understand: It is just a photo. A licensing endorsement. The product is still coming from New Mexico, regardless of whose famous face is on the front of it.
Similar to old, outdoor grown, dry weed- or an overterped Prime Time, depending on the one you choose. Harsh burn, bad taste. These might take you back to the ‘92 Impala days 😂
The new “live resin” line has a much more tolerable flavor- (higher amounts of fruit terps)… but that makes it even less likely it’s live resin. Nobody knows what is actually in these joints… but I have a pretty good idea this is more deceptive marketing for higher price points. I’ve said this several times: live resin doesn’t taste like candy. That’s a FACT.
It is my opinion, and the opinion of many other consumers that Caviar Gold produces some of the worst products on the market. Overpriced, overhyped, and poor quality compared to the rest of the market . Seeing any “infused” product raises questions- but when it’s black, my suspicions grow faster. I believe these are nothing more than ‘below-average’ quality flower, masked with hash oil, distillate, and/or kief (allegedly)… basically ANY products that might help achieve that outrageous THC level (40%-50%). Side note: If cannabis is that good… it doesn’t need to be infused and altered, and you definitely don’t need a THC level of 40%.
So if you can’t do it right, don’t do it at all.
Bottom line:
Will these get you high? Yes.
Do I recommend them? Absolutely NOT.
Consume them at your own risk.
